Denim will always hold a special place in my heart but in the last two years, when it gets hot outside, I just can’t stand wearing denim. That made me shop for trousers made of lighter fabrics, those that breath more easily and would ensure that I didn’t cook in my clothes. Enter these harem pants.
Where to begin? I love the colour, they’re light enough to repel the sun’s rays. Their neutral colour can very easily be paired with any other colour in my closet. I can wear them to work, a huge plus, and they’re quite flattering.
The only issue I have with them is which shoes to style them with aside from sandals but we’ll find a solution.
On this day it was particularly hot. So I opted to for a simple black corset-style top and light denim jacket for when the temperature dipped later in the day. I added the necklace for some drama and some black sandals to complete the outfit.
