As much as I am loving this cold weather (I am so happy to bring out my winter coats and boots), I couldn’t help but long for a little bit of sunshine especially while looking at these photos. These were taken at the height of summer, in January. The crop top worn over a maxi dress is something new for me. I have had this dress for a number of years now and I wanted to find new ways to wear it. I added a bit of colour to the dress with this colour-blocked crop top which has a matching skirt. An animal print scarf tied as a turban, black belt to accentuate my waist, burgundy handbag and black flats were my accessories of choice. Brace earrings and bangles completed the look.
