Red Carpet Style: 2016 Oscars
The Oscars is one of the most looked forward to event in Hollywood and I will confess, I look forward to the red carpet slightly more than seeing who won what. This year, I found myself drawn to bold colours like cobalt blue, sapphire, yellow and red. I loved the edgy feel of Kerry Washington’s gown (who doesn’t love a little leather especially when it is unexpected on a red carpet). Apart from the colours, it was interesting to see an interpretation of the ruffles trend which is having a moment right now.
It was refreshing to see men not sticking to the norm of black tuxedos. White and blue really caught my eye.
