The 2016 AMVCA’s took place this past weekend in Lagos, Nigeria and I will confess that this is the first time I am featuring an African red carpet style post on the blog. There’s a first time for everything, right? Among my favourites were the assortment of colours of men’s blazers from pink, red, blue, mustard and there was a yellow suit that brightened up my day! For the ladies, I wanted to see some out of the box gowns i.e. ankara designs that were different or gowns with a bit more detail than you would usually see on a red carpet. I spotted a pink trouser suit that sang to me and a few black gowns that were accessorized just right.
