Today I had to leave the house earlier than I would have liked. It was so cold. I think the temperature drops a few degrees each day because no day is like the previous one. And we can only expect it to get colder until about mid-January.
So today’s outfit was mostly to keep me warm than anything else. And this coat, scarf and boots served their intended purpose very well.
I love the colours of this scarf. They always add some cheer on a dull, cold day like today.
To further ensure that I don’t run to the market to shop for “winter clothes” (a good enough excuse for me to shop, not that I need any!) I’m using some of my summer clothes and piling on the layers.
I bought these boots a few winters back and I’m actually shocked that they’ve lasted this long. You see I was a bit sceptical when I bought them as I had always bought my boots back home in Kenya and these were the first I got in India.
I bought this sweater in Ngara on my last trip home. I loved the fact that it’s 100% wool!! It comes with a belt too but today I opted not to wear it.
