Hi all!!! I hope you’re having a great week. Mine has been super busy and I can’t wait for the weekend so I can have a breather. I’d like to take a minute to remember all those who have been affected by hurricane Sunday on the US East Coast.
October has been a good month for me. I managed to put in more work into the improvement of my blog with a few changes here and there. My side-bar now features looks I’ve posted on Chicisimo and Polyvore; I also made a custom Welcome Tab for my Facebook page and changed my profile picture in all my online accounts. Some key ones remain undone. I hope to accomplish this by Monday next week.
I got my first ever guest post opportunity. A friend started a blog and asked me to be a regular contributor. I was so excited!! Then about two weeks later, I got another request to be a guest blogger on a local fashion blog. I was also nominated for the Liebster Award. I’ll tell you more about this in upcoming posts.
Some of my favourite styling this month featured a pencil skirt+peplum jacket, coat dress, transitioned dress and androgynous+preppy look.
My remix option for this month was on wearing a skirt as a dress and 4 ways to wear a scarf.
October being the month where we commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness, I wore something pink to commemorate.
This month’s special series touched on good grooming. Taking care of very basic things like general hygiene, nails, teeth and hair, contributes to your overall look and makes you stand out even more.
Michelle Obama has become one of my style icons. I can never get enough of her style.
Monday Stylist posts for this month gave some ideas on staying stylish during the rainy weather we’ve been experiencing. I also talked about some wardrobe essentials for the corporate world.
I’d like to welcome all my new followers and blog readers. And a big THANK YOU to you all for all your support this month.
Happy Wednesday!!!
