The temptation to spend my days in trousers and sweatshirts bites so hard sometimes that it scares me. When I find myself leaning more towards either jeans and a tshirt/shirt and a sweatshirt, I quickly check myself and opt for a dressier outfit. Why? Because sometimes when you stay in your comfort zone for too long, you forget what it means to put an effort in anything, you forget how to work hard and you become complacent.
This outfit started out as trousers and a t-shirt. I had been stuck in bed for two days, unwell, but I had to drag myself out of the house to run some errands. You know how your mood can change just by the outfit you wear? I considered pairing these black slim fit trousers with a t-shirt and I felt myself sinking further into illness. So I opted for my black and white button down shirt and added my navy sweatshirt. I like the way my shirt tails and sleeves are sticking out. Sometimes a little untidiness is necessary. A gold chain necklace, felt hat and black loafers completed my outfit.
