This year I have been more aware of African fashion and specifically the Kenyan fashion scene. I know, where have I been? I really can’t answer that but I’m glad that I am learning so much from local talent.
I have been following Diana Opoti’s 100 Days of African Fashion very keenly, looking out for great designers and outfits and of course seeing how she styles individual pieces. I must say that I love each and every look but for this post, I tried to pick non-ankara based outfits. I know Africans are the best designers when it comes to ankara (kitenge) outfits so now I wanted to select every day outfits that you can wear to work or when going out with the girls.
