One of the things I love about my new challenge of getting a minimalist wardrobe is that all the pieces I own make me excited with just the thought of wearing them. Take this dress for instance, it’s like a kaftan or a cover-up that you use at the beach. It has gorgeous colours, is made of chiffon making it light and breezy for those warmer days and I can pair it with a skirt or trousers, not to mention it has buttons running down the front which makes it excellent for breastfeeding (you can read my post on what to wear when breastfeeding here) and the thigh high slits make it just a tad naughty.
I wore this to Church last Sunday. Since the dress is a statement piece on it’s own, I wanted to keep my accessories muted. I paired it with black stilettos, a simple chain and loop earrings. I got the bag from my sister and love the size and style. I finished off with purple lip stick.
Outfit Details: Chiffon dress: Gikomba; Skirt: Botique i2s; Shoes: Chandigarh, India; Bag: gift; Earrings and necklace: gift
