Weekly note from the Editor
I hope you have had a great week and almost end of the month. Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate this holiday! My week has been hectic to say the least. I have been unwell for almost two weeks now but I am glad to say that I am on the mend.
This week the Pope paid a visit to my beloved country, Kenya, and while there were some complaints about all the fuss surrounding his visit, I was very happy to be breathing the same air as the earthly head of my church. Although I didn’t manage to be physically present at the various functions he presided over, I followed them on TV and I am extremely impressed by his humility, simplicity, love for each human being no matter where he comes from or faith he professes, love for the environment and challenge to the youth to go forth and dream big, work hard and develop our talents! I like that his message to Kenya (and the world) was applicable to everyone and not a select few.
And on that positive note, I would like to wish you a lovely weekend. Keep safe.
