Life Update | Where Have I Been
Happy new week guys! I hope you have been well.
It’s been over a month since I posted here. My sincerest apologies for the non-scheduled hiatus. June was somewhat of a life-changing month for me, in a good way. As you all know, I have been wearing glasses ever since I can remember. When I wrote my memoirs of a bespectacled girl part one and two, you can read them here and here, and shared with you how excited I was to get new, trendier frames (read full post here), I didn’t imagine that a few years down the line my life would change drastically.
You see, last month, I had eye surgery and now I can function without my glasses and only need to wear glasses to read!
I feel like a new me, like my whole life has changed and I get to live a new life. I can’t adequately express to you the joy I feel when I wake up in the morning and I don’t have to reach for my glasses just so that I can look at my daughter lying in bed fast asleep or check my phone for messages. I realize that I look quite different than I did with my glasses on and I know that if I meet people who knew me before I will have to reintroduce myself but I don’t mind. Being glasses-free has given me a new lease of life and I am soooo happy.
Now that I am back to blogging, I feel like my life is slowly coming back to normal. I have been thinking a lot about my blog and what I want to write here. I am slowly getting over outfit posts. I feel like I have outgrown them. I would like to cover other lifestyle-related topics giving more life tips. For fashion, I think instead of focussing solely on my personal style posts, I will pay more attention to giving tips and hacks that I have tried or come across. What do you think? Would you like such posts? Do let me know what sort of posts you would like to see more of on the blog.
* You will receive a weekly newsletter from Inches To Style including most recent posts and videos, and musings on the latest happenings around the world.

One of the things I promised myself I would do, ever since this pandemic started and life slowed down, is that I would dress up every single day. Granted, I had nowhere to go, but putting on an outfit, no matter how simple, uplifted my…
