I’m not one to dress exactly like someone else that’s why I find it so hard to follow trends. But I like to draw inspiration from all sorts of places. However getting inspiration from the red carpet can be quite hard because 1) the celebrities are wearing designer gowns which are either custom made or cost a fortune and 2) where would I be wearing a gown to? So when I saw Rooney Mara in this outfit, I couldn’t help but notice how easy it was to redo. She wore a black jumpsuit and white blazer for a lunch for the Annual Academy Awards Nominees luncheon. It’s so simple and the pieces are so accessible to anybody that I thought I had to redo it with a twist of my own of course.

My version of the outfit I chose a jumpsuit with a sequined top and paired it with a white blazer. To add some colour to the outfit I chose red peep toe heels and a snakeskin box clutch. Gold hoop earrings and a rose knuckle ring completed the look.
