Have you ever come across a dress that is beautiful and yet it’s too short to wear on it’s own and too long to pair with regular pants? I have, and I’m afraid I have several. This tunic is one of them. I bought it a few years back and this is the third time I’m wearing it. I love the flower detailing on the collar particularly because it’s the same colour as the rest of the garment.
I believe you can never go wrong with pairing dark-wash denim trousers with a black top and this is what I opted for while running a few errands. I would have opted for leggings like I did during my maternity days but I wore them so much during those 9 months that as soon as I was done I gave most of them away and swore to never wear any in public again. A much sought after (and found for 50 bob in Gikomba!) gold belt created an illusion of a waistline. My black wedges which are great alternatives for flats added to my chosen dark palette. Red earrings added a little bit of colour. The bag, well, I picked it and literally ran out of the house because I was running late and had no time to look for a black one.
