Do you sometimes find it impossible to translate a look you saw in a magazine, blog or fashion show into every day life? When I saw this photo of Cate Blanchette wearing this mixed print peplum top by Peter Piloto I was so jazzed by how easy she made it. The top was originally paired with patterned pants on the runway but she wore it with a simple black pencil skirt. For me this is the easiest translation of a runway outfit made to suit your personal taste and needs.
Another celebrity whose outfit has stood out to me in the past week is Angelina Jolie. I love all white although with the red soil in Nairobi I always have second thoughts about putting on an all-white outfit. Wait a minute… I just had a brainwave!! Why not try it on Sunday?? Hahahaha I think I just might. Look out for an outfit post next week!!
In other news, I have finally launched my online store (access it here). It only has a few pieces but others will be added in the course of the week. Also, have you noticed the new look on the blog? It’s not complete, though. I still need to tweak here and there (what can I say, I am a perfectionist). But so far, what are your thoughts?
