Birthday Outfit: Maxi Skirt + Printed Shirt
It seems like this is my go-to skirt for my birthday. When I first got this skirt, I was celebrating my 20th birthday. The gorgeous colour, volume, the fact that it’s a maxi skirt and the subtle prints had me from the get go and my obsession continues because post-baby it still fits!
I paired it with a printed shirt which I tied to make a sort of crop top and my dearly missed peep-toe wedges for birthday dinner with the family. My brass earrings and a orange lip finished off the look. The tube of this lipstick says that it’s cherry red but it always comes out as orange. I don’t mind though.
I am so excited about my hair. It’s growing back to it’s pre-relaxer length and I couldn’t be happier. I have no idea what to do with it next so it will stay like this for a while. I also want to try my hand at styling it differently everyday so let’s see. I think I’ll document it on Facebook and Instagram and do a weekly post here with a recap. That sounds like a good idea: a source of inspiration and it will force me to actually style my hair differently everyday, haha!
I have been getting positive feedback about the new website. Thank you Merilyn (you were the first to comment, yay!) and Yvonne and to everyone who has managed to stop by.
