I have a confession to make. I’m starting to get bored. I love the fact that I have figured out what works for me in terms of style but then, I can’t help but want more for myself. This boredom mostly stems from doing things in the same old way, over and over again. I’m tired of wearing the same simple dress paired with a statement necklace, or high-waisted jeans/trousers with a top tucked in, or sneakers with everything. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my classics. I would just like to push myself a bit more in terms of style.
Therefore, I have decided to take up a style challenge for the next 30 days. I came across this one on Who What Wear, a fashion website that I absolutely love. The challenge basically tries to get you to explore different ways of styling your clothes, paying particular attention to those aspects of style that you wouldn’t ordinarily turn to.
I will put up a post per outfit and tell you a little about it here on the blog. I will share where I got the individual pieces, their cost and why I feel that particular challenge is good for my growth.
As this is a 30 day challenge, it means there will be a post up on the blog everyday for the next 30 days. You are most welcome to join me in this challenge. I will use the hashtag #i2sStyleChallenge. I hope that by the end of it I will have managed to add a few more interesting items to my wardrobe and learned a bit more on upping my style game.
The first post up will be up tomorrow. See you then! xo
