With the change in seasons comes a change not only in the contents of your wardrobe but also in the colours you can choose to add in order to update your look. Sometimes, when I am looking for ways to update my wardrobe without necessarily wearing the latest trends (because sometimes the latest trends don’t fit in well with my personal style and lifestyle), I lean towards buying clothes in my personal style that are in those colours which are in fashion.
Here are 3 trending colours that have got me longing for a shopping spree. This list is based on the Pantone Fall Colours for 2016.

1. Mustard yellow
Whether as part of an outfit or when added to your home decor, mustard is sure to add a pop of colour to any outfit and/or room.
2. Warm Taupe
Taupe is a cross between grey, brown and beige. This colour is warmer than good old grey (which I also love). When you want an alternative to your usual neutrals like grey, black and white, opt for taupe.
3. Lush Meadow
Given that green may not be the first colour that I would gravitate towards, lush meadow, which is a shade of green, is sure to add a pop of colour to an outfit and a room.
Would you add any of the colours above to your wardrobe? Which is your favourite? Do share in the comments below.
