12 OUTFITS FOR CHRISTMAS PART FOUR

The festive season brings with it many events to which you have for which you have to dress up. This week I am featuring a dinner date with someone special and meeting your in-laws. Past posts include, outfit ideas for an office party, family lunch, December wedding, Christmas concert, travelling and Christmas shopping.
1. Dinner with a special someone
When you are going out with someone special be it your best friend, boyfriend, a family member or members etc, dress to impress. This is the best time to glam up and dress the way you’ve always dreamed of dressing. I went with a little red dress, gold jewellery, an animal print clutch and sandals. This outfit will also work well with a white dress.
**Make sure you try your outfit before hand if it’s something you’ve never worn before to make sure you are absolutely comfortable in it.
2. Meeting the in-laws
I’ve not yet reached the point where I have to meet my prospective in-laws, but I imagine that when you do you should be well dressed i.e. covered and presentable. Don’t forget that this is the first impression you’ll be giving the family of that special someone. And they may influence his decision one way or another. So first things first, make sure you are well dressed.

I chose a red dress with a slim belt, black heels, a black handbag, statement necklace and stud earrings. For me this outfit is simple yet it has an element of daring in the statement necklace.

What would you wear for these occasions?
